        OK, let’s go for stuff beyond the profile..

        I was a fat kid growing up. In the US, we called it ‘husky’. I wore a Beethoven tee shirt before I started high school. You can imagine how popular I was.

        I once nearly poisoned myself during my first year at uni. I took nitric acid from our chemistry lab so I could make gun cotton. I mixed it with bleach and inhaled the fumes. I didn’t have the best common sense!

        Facts. Ok well anything to do with my personality would be subjective and not factual. I could state the obvious like I have X and Y chromosomes, kidneys and feet.

        The first fact: I am a scientist, and I am still here – thank you!
        The second fact I have appeared in a movie. Some might say, starred in, other wouldn’t. The others would of course be correct as I was an extras with a fleeting appearance but my mum is at least very proud.
