        Hi RS Sport

I think eating a healthy diet with enough electrolytes is a good start, maybe a banana before training. Make sure you warm up and stretch out too, that will help.

they are super painful aren’t they!??

Cramps happen when the amount of salts and water in your muscles get out of balance. To prevent them as Nikki said eat well, and stretch. Also remember to drink plenty of water while exercising. If it’s a big problem for you I’d go and see your doctor.

Lots of stretching before hand and warm ups always helps me. If its when you are running I would suggest ditching running and start cycling!

        Hi RS Sport

WebMD is a reliable resource: http://www.webmd.com/pain-management/muscle-spasms-cramps-charley-horse

So, it depends on when the cramps happen.

        Hi!

I think if you drink a lot of water and stetch carefully and regularly you will be fine.

        Jess.
