Blue. Ever since i read about how we evolved to see and name colours in:
Through the Language Glass: Why The World Looks Different In Other Languages by Guy Deutscher.
He never mentioned to his baby girl what colour the sky was while she was growing up to see if she would ever make the connection that the sky is the same colour as all the other things she called ‘blue’ – amazingly she didn’t. I know what you are thinking – what is bluer than the sky? I was the same, but apparently we don’t all automatically think the sky is blue. Also I love that in Russian it they have two words for blue depending on the shade: siniy and golubouy (golub is also pigeon – think about it, even the grey wild pigeons sometimes look a little blue). check out is article about it:
