Well, personally they feel like big decisions but maybe in the rand scheme of things they are not. I had to decide to leave my old job (much easier, more money, closer to home…) for a new job as a lecturer. It was a hard decision but worth it

        Hi again

For me, so far: whether to get married.

Yes, I make decisions a lot about where to direct the research I do. I think scientifically, I have had to decide on a future career path of working either in academia or in industry. There are pros and cons to both and neither one is better, it’s just about what suits you most. You can go back and forth but for me, it’s a big decision and I still haven’t decided!

I don’t think I’ve had to make big decisions, that would effect loads of other people.

        Hi!

It depends what’s a big decision for you. I make decisions everyday, but I don’t think they can be considered big.

For me my biggest decision up until now has been leaving Italy to come to UK for my PhD, my parents weren’t happy about it back then, so it took me a while to get them used to the idea.

        Jess.
