        Hi Samuel,
Like Andy said a degree in architecture, most universities like you to have A levels in Maths or Physics and Art or DT. If you’re really interested you could look at trying to do some work experience at an architects and start collecting drawing or photos of buildings you like.

I agree with Harriet and Andy. Good luck Samuel if that’s what you want to become!

        Hi!

My sister is getting her degree in Architecture!
You need to know maths, enjoy drawing and using graphic softwares such as Autocad and Photoshop, these are the main tool they use for their projects.
You need to be creative, be interested in history of arts, and have a lot of patience. in Italy for every project they design they have to build models to scale using cardboard and wood. I’ve helped her sometimes with building the models and I find it really funny, but I guess nowadays for professional models they will start using 3D printers.
Here in London there are a lot of architecture firms that create projects with contracts all over the world, so if you want to do an internship you should check over here.

        Jess.
