One is for the undergraduates that I teach. They have certain things they need to learn before they can call themselves trained materials scientists. I teach them thermodynamics in their first year of university, and biosensors in the last year.
I also give talks to scientific audiences, usually people who have already finished their undergraduate studies. I talk about my research and tell them about any exciting discoveries we’ve made in my lab.
I give talks like this to the general public, but instead of focusing on the scientific details, I give a more general overview and tell them more about what other people are doing too, and how this research will affect their lives.
